Tanya is an artist based in Tucson, Arizona. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree from the University of Arizona, with an emphasis in photography, video, and imaging. Her artistic practice explores the concept of how individuals can create different worlds and experiences within their minds. Through her photography, Tanya aims to take control of fate and choose desired outcomes. She creates unrealistic fictional characters and scenarios to demonstrate the extent of human imagination. Her ultimate goal is to live a thousand lives through her art. Her photographs often lean toward the horror genre, aiming to evoke feelings of unease in the viewer.
